About GirlBar Ottawa

GirlBar started as a joke. Whenever it was all women on shift, the restaurant just ran better. Smoother service, better energy, happier tables. Someone said it out loud, everyone laughed – and then someone said “We should do something with that.”

Where We Come From

The bar and hospitality industry is male-dominated. That’s not news. But instead of just talking about it, we threw a party.

GirlBar Ottawa is a celebration of the women who work in this industry – the bartenders, servers, managers, and everyone holding it down behind the scenes. It’s a space rooted in appreciation, respect, and a genuinely good time.

What We’re Building

Right now we’re doing popups – showing up in different spots around Ottawa with great drinks and good people. Each one is a little different. All of them have the same energy.

We’ve also got merch. Shirts that say GirlBar.

Something bigger is coming in late May. We’ll share more when we can.
